Ciao Venezia! (Day 1)

Ok, here we go... Well this is a picture of my first view of Venice from the train pulling in to Santa Lucia Station. Got here just in time, there's a train strike today.

And now some obligatory tourist snaps...

So with that over and done with I went on a walk. Got completely lost most of the time but detected a bit of a theme emerging in my choice of photographic subject...

I had heard they like cats here in Venice, and now I have the evidence.
